Well, at the moment everyone is talking about Natalie Portman's Oscar winning performance at the new box office smash hit BLACK SWAN

The actress has already accepted the award for best actress for her role in 'Black Swan' at the 16th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards in Hollywood earlier this month and I must say the pregnant star looked so beautiful and healthy.

I am going to see the film tomorrow and I cannot wait!

Can't wait to see the costumes designed by costume designing duo Rodarte. There will be a lot of sparkle on the screen as Swarovski was responsible for the amazing crystal chandeliers right down to the details on Natalie Portman's headdress!

Spring 2011 Trend: 1970s Fashion

The sexy simplicity of 1970s style never goes out of fashion. Those neckline baring jumpsuits, silver and gold lame halter dresses, and playful hot pants evoked a liberating time in fashion where women could wear clothes that were less constricting than those of the 1960s.

Oversized sunglasses and wide leg pants never went out of style, but they are an even bigger trend for Spring 2011. An easy skirt and loosely fitted sweater at Fendi along with a fitted pant suit by Etro are glimpses of what we can expect from 70s-inspired designer collections. For the more fashion adventurous, try a pair of metallic hot pants and matching top as seen at Elie Tahari.

Love all of the looks above.  Lets go and have a look on Ebay....

Victoria Beckham Handbags

Victoria Beckham's first collection arrives.

Since her debut collection in 2008, Victoria Beckham has been showered with critical acclaim, and her recent nomination at the British Fashion Awards means she’s cemented her position as one of Britain’s most powerful fashion forces. Now VB’s brand new handbag range, first unveiled in September at New York Fashion Week, has just touched down in the UK. The six bag styles are expensive in their looks as well as their price tags but, in leather and exotic skin finishes, polished gold hardware and a palette of blush, black, navy and fossil, they’re well worth the investment.

Do you like what you see? I DO !

Victoria toughens the ladylike shape of this shoulder bag with a chunky hexagonal metal chain, £2,100.

Colour blocking was all over the S/S '11 catwalks.
Get ahead now by carrying this two-tone clutch on your evening out, £1,195.

VB is if often seen sporting her namesake Victoria handbag.
In navy, it’s perfectly on trend for this season, £2,300.

This shoulder style comes trimmed with polished gold hardware, £1,700.

Here is my favourite.
If you, like Victoria, spend your life travelling around the world; this roomy weekend bag will fit all you need and more on short or long-haul trips away, £3,250.

Wide Leg Trousers

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hope you have all recovered from the X-mas and New Year celebrations by now and are ready to start 2011 with a BANG!

This morning I've been browsing through some new fashion trends for 2011.
One trend has particularly caught my eye as it is one of my favourites.

The wide leg trouser is a classic trouser that never goes out of style. However, its popularity and trendiness changes from year to year. It looks like Spring 2011 is a hot one for the 70s style trouser, a favorite amongst many designers. The soft high-waisted wide-leg trouser was seen all over the runways and is already hitting the streets this winter.

Paired with floaty tops, platforms and skinny belts, this retro look is a comfortable option compared to the skinny jean trend we have seen over the past few years. They are elegant, comfortable, and flattering, as long as you choose a cut that's right for your figure.
I personally love them and can't wait to buy a nice pair. Come on, pick up a few pairs to add some style and comfort to your wardrobe!
